NicheTrust is a verified traffic ranking and sponsorship marketplace for niche websites. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we never do with it. No legalese walls — just plain language.

What We Collect

Account information

When you sign up via Clerk (Google or email login), we store your name, email address, and profile picture. We never see or store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Site information

When you add a site, we store the URL, the category you choose, and your contact email for sponsor inquiries.

Aggregate traffic data

We connect to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 via a Google Service Account with read-only access. From these services we read only:

Total GSC clicks (aggregate count by date)
GA4 active users count
GA4 pageview count
Top countries (aggregate)
Device category breakdown (aggregate)

This aggregate data is stored in our database and displayed on your public site listing.

What We Never Collect

We call this our SEO Shield. We deliberately limit our data access to protect your competitive advantage:

XSearch queries or keywords
XLanding page URLs or page-level analytics
XIndividual visitor data or user behavior
XClick-through rates by query
XPosition data by keyword
XYour passwords (handled by Clerk)

How We Use Your Data

Public rankings — Your aggregate traffic data is displayed on NicheTrust's public leaderboard so advertisers can discover your site.
Trust score calculation — We compare GSC clicks to GA4 users to generate a trust score that helps identify sites with legitimate traffic.
Sponsor contact — When an advertiser wants to reach you, we provide a direct mailto: link to your contact email. We do not intermediate, read, or store any messages between you and advertisers.

We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or traffic data to third parties. Your data is used solely to power the NicheTrust platform.

Third-Party Services

Clerk — Handles authentication (Google and email login). Clerk processes your login credentials; we never see your password.
Google APIs — We use Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 APIs via a service account with read-only access to pull aggregate traffic data.
Supabase — Our database provider. Your account and site data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete any of your sites from NicheTrust at any time via your dashboard. When you delete a site, all associated traffic data is removed from our database. If you want to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@nichetrust.com.
